Denial

The second of my three-part series, "Stages of Grief"

"Denial" represents the apathy that turns into my favorite drug. It's numbing, emotionless, and distracting. This escapism goes entirely against my nature, therefore my final realization of its potency drives me to prioritize the journey of healing.

Remember: You cannot suppress negative emotions without suppressing the good ones.
